CNBC – Can Bitcoin Go Mainstream?:
The CNBC audience is introduced to Bitcoin by Julia Boorstin (@JBoorstin) who uses the Mt. Gox security breach as the event newsworthy enough for it to get three minutes of airtime.
Her report includes a statement by Bitcoin’s lead developer Gavin Andresen and then interviewed on-air is Bitcoin Consultancy’s Donald Norman:
“D. Norman: Some decentralized currency is going to come to the forefront and it is going to be regulated. It is better that it is regulated sooner rather than later so that the governments can prepare and actually address the concerns of the citizens and not go through a sort of shock therapy”.
